Today I’m talking about something heartbreaking. A dog was brutally dragged behind a truck. When a couple witnessed the abuse the truck pulled off to the side of the road untied the dog and left him there to die. Witnesses ran over and rescued the dog. The dog survived and is expected to make a complete recovery.
The reason I am writing is because I can not believe that someone could do this. I love animals and find them extremely loving. Whoever did this should be punished. Animal abuse is a serious issue, and this animal did not do anything to deserve this.
If you witnessed this type of abuse what would you do to help?
A dog is one of the most pure examples of unconditional love that exists. I don’t understand how someone can use this to commit such horrific acts toward dogs. There are so many unjustices against animals. I think someone must really be insecure and “chicken” to abuse animals. They can’t report the abuse, they can’t fight back to the extent of a human, and the penalty for murder of an animal isn’t severe.
I am not saying that the animals should be protected by the same rights and judicial system that humans are, but they should have the right not to be abused.
If I ever witnessed this type of abuse, I would make sure to do everything I could to save the animal, and utilize the judicial system to make the abuser pay for their crime.

I recently had a feral kitten that bit my daughter tested for rabies. They euthanized the animal, send it to Indy where CDC examined its brain tissue. This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I love animals, cats especially. But if I did not have the test, rabies vacination shots were required. What a choice – rock and hard place.
We had a human rabies case in our area this past month. A little girl is extremely sick at Rileys Hospital with the disease. Thankfully, our tests were negative, but the kitten is dead.
After going through this experience, I can’t imagine why anyone would be cruel to animals.

Animals should be protected no matter what. My mom told me a story where a man killed her mother in laws cat and said he would deny it to the police.I wish I could find this man but it’s impossible.I love animals and cant imagige someone doing something like that.You would think since the cat was on his lawn he would get busted plus he had a rifle but no one else in the area did.Can someone please reply to me?Can someone help me ang give me ideas on what I should do?It is your choice to make a change for animals on earth.

i think dog should get protection my moms freinds dog was stabed cause he did not like the him and he did not go to jail for it
